Mr. Lira started serving the Light Rail Transit Authority as a Station Teller at the Line 1 System straight from college during the year 2000. After two years, he was promoted to Civil Security Officer B and was designated as the Administrative Officer of the Civil Security Office. During his stint as the Administrative Officer, he introduced improvements for the Office’s capacity-building particularly in logistics and employee skills.
During the succeeding years, he became a member of different committees and was promoted to Training Specialist III where he heads the Technical Training Team. He was designated Head of the Administrative and Financial Services of the newly created Philippine Railway Training Center and took an active role in the certification/accreditation of the Train Driving Level II, the first and the only training module approved by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
