Dr. Sukhy Barhey, Director, is the Strategy Lead in Asia Pacific. He is responsible for BMT’s safety and risk management capability across several sectors.
A safety, reliability and risk management specialist with 30 years of experience in transportation (rail), oil and gas, marine, and power sectors, Dr Barhey has been involved in major global infrastructure projects addressing risk and safety management, systems safety and asset management, and involving the implementation of latest technology and processes in complex operating environments.
Dr Barhey’s expertise has been recognised through assignments as Technical Safety Manager, Senior Advisor and Lead Accident Investigator. He has helped establish risk management processes, criteria and assessment practices for government bodies and helped major organisations improve their safety and risk performance in projects and operations.
